Tonight was all about getting ready for our upcoming hike at Enchanted Rock—and our scouts showed up ready to learn and have some fun! 
We kicked things off with a shakedown meeting to make sure everyone is prepared for the trail. Scouts put their knowledge to the test with a fast-paced 10 Essentials relay race, followed by a fun (and sometimes surprising!) “What’s in Your Bag?” game. We also did a shoe check to make sure everyone’s footwear is trail-ready—no blisters on our watch!
To wrap up the night, one of our scouts treated us to a delicious homemade chè thái (Vietnamese fruit cocktail)—a big hit with everyone! 
We finished strong with an energetic game of capture the flag, full of teamwork, strategy, and lots of laughs.
Great preparation, great teamwork, and a great night all around. Enchanted Rock, here we come!
